about ukiset

UKiset (UK Independent Schools Entry Test) is a standardised assessment used primarily by international students applying to leading independent schools in the UK. It is designed as a pre-assessment, helping schools evaluate a student’s academic potential and English proficiency before progressing to further stages. Widely used by boarding and day schools across the UK, UKiset provides a single test that can be shared with multiple schools. We support families throughout this process, combining tailored preparation, strategic school guidance and expert tuition to ensure each student is well prepared and appropriately positioned.

Why pick us?

Why pick us?

UKiset consists of three main components: an adaptive reasoning test (verbal, non-verbal and mathematical reasoning), a Cambridge English assessment (reading, listening and grammar), and a short essay writing task. Together, these provide schools with a comprehensive view of a student’s ability and readiness for a UK academic environment. The test is often unfamiliar in both format and structure, particularly for students coming from different education systems. Schools use UKiset results as an initial screening tool, alongside school reports and other information, to determine whether to invite candidates to the next stage of admissions. We have extensive experience preparing students for UKiset, ensuring they understand the format, develop confidence across all components, and present their abilities clearly.
