Key Stages 1 - 3 Tuition

Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2), Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) and Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9) follow the UK National Curriculum, covering a broad range of subjects. These years are critical for developing both subject knowledge and the ability to think independently and work with increasing structure. Tuition is tailored to each student, reinforcing school learning, addressing gaps and extending ability where appropriate. For families considering independent school entry, we also support preparation for assessments such as 7+, 11+ and 13+ where relevant. We have extensive experience supporting students across these stages, ensuring both academic consistency and progression.

We provide tuition across all subjects, tailored to each student’s school curriculum and academic requirements. This typically includes English (reading, writing, comprehension and grammar), Mathematics and Science, with Biology, Chemistry and Physics introduced at Key Stage 3. Support is also available in verbal and non-verbal reasoning, as well as Humanities such as History, Geography and Religious Studies. Where appropriate, we offer tuition in modern languages, including French and Spanish, alongside the development of study skills and organisation, ensuring a well-rounded and consistent academic programme.

We then design a structured programme aligned to both school learning and long-term academic goals.
